Aizhen Chen is a professor of Economics in School of Economics at Xiamen University. She has published more than 70 papers and 2 books, and has presided over 13 projects including two Major Projects of National Social Science Foundation of China. Her research areas include international trade, industrial organization, the innovative and sustainable development of China’s industries from the perspectives of global supply chain and global value chain, especially the effect of international competition and national institution, division of labor on the innovation and sustainable development of China’s machinery manufacturing industries.
