Sheldon (Xiaodong) Du

Xiaodong (Sheldon) Du is an associate professor in the Department of Agricultural & Applied Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, specializing in agricultural and energy economics. His research focuses on understanding production agriculture and its adaptation to environmental, policy, and technological changes. He also investigates risk management, crop insurance decisions, and commodity market dynamics. He received his PhD in economics from Iowa State University in 2008.
